Learning to understand, create, and appreciate art is important for early childhood development. Art education is an effective way to teach critical thinking, innovation, and visual learning skills to young children. Sculpting, drawing, and fitting shapes together develop valuable spatial-awareness skills that are important for children.

Self-expression is essential to experience at a young age, and it can be difficult with a limited vocabulary and understanding of what’s going on around you. Art allows the child to eliminate preconceived notions and ideas by focusing on how they feel things should look and be. Self-expression is good for mental health by providing a form of releasing their tension or negativity.

As an artist with a vocation for education, I have been developing cultural projects oriented towards artistic interpretation with a focus on contemporary art, design, and heritage. I collaborate with several cultural platforms specialised in supporting the production and dissemination of contemporary artists. Using pedagogical methodologies, I develop and adapt content to create workshops in synchrony with a specific theme or exhibition.
